Cloud of Things Joins EdgeX Foundry
Tel Aviv, Israel — Cloud of Things, a connected device software, security and management company, today announced it has become a Silver Member of EdgeX Foundry, a project of the Linux Foundation, which Cloud of Things has also joined.
“We are thrilled to be part of the Foundry, and part of the future of IoT technologies, integrations and large scale deployments,” said David Chouraqui, CEO, Cloud of Things. “The EdgeX project is another important initiative of the Linux Foundation, leading the way in bringing the industrial IoT community together to support solutions that simply work better, with the right architectures and economics for enterprises.”
EdgeX is continuing to develop a framework for IoT edge computing, while enabling and encouraging the rapidly growing community of IoT solution providers to create an ecosystem of interoperable plug-and-play components based around the EdgeX platform architecture.
Joining with EdgeX Foundry is part of Cloud of Things’ strategy to bring future-proof connected device software solutions to enterprises, solutions which work across all devices, equipment agnostic, and compatible with any network protocol, connected to any cloud or multiple clouds.
